What inspires me project

Ever since I began volunteering at the Lake Wales Care Center July, 2011 I have finally noticed that there are things in my life that easily inspire me. Questions that people ask themselves during college and during the final years of high school is, "What inspires me"? Last July I finally learned that volunteering definitely inspires me and I am extremely happy that I have been volunteering ever since I was in fourth grade.
 I did not start volunteering at the Lake Wales Care Center until July, 2011 however, but I have been volunteering at other places that always need my help. When I am not always able to volunteer I always try to help wherever and whenever I can. I am one of those people that really, really loves to help others and to do the right thing.
I believe it not only has to deal with my personality type but the fact that I have been a Christian ever since I was eight years old. My mom has always been the one to inspire me to do things that I don't always want to do all of the time. I remember frequently last year how often I wanted to come home from volunteering but my mom's persistence really paid off in the long run.
What I meant by that was the fact that she cares so much about doing the right thing, working hard, volunteering and helping others that she eventually drove it into my long-term memory. It normally takes a while to drive anything into my long-term memory but in her case she succeeded really fast. She has been teaching me her values ever since I was old enough to understand and it took me until fourth grade to start practicing her values on my own.
My mom never expects me to do any of this stuff as much as she used to in the past since I turned nineteen on November 11, 2012. I am extremely thankful that I am at the age where I am extremely self-motivated and very easily inspired by all of the values my mom has taught me for as long as I can remember. Since I have a fifteen year-old brother I try to teach him a lot of the values that my mom taught me when she is working or with my dad shopping.
I am actually very surprised that he has become easily inspired but he easily inspired by a few different things that I am not so easily inspired by. This just goes to prove that everybody is different but that is the way God created the world. One way I would love to best describe people and what easily inspires them is "No two snowflakes are the same."
